Hawser is made by Onur Yavuz, who builds and ships Mac and iOS software. The email address at the bottom of every page on this site reaches him directly.

Why that is relevant to this particular purchase

Hawser exists because this problem had to be solved here first. Shipping Mac and iOS apps meant walking the whole distance from an Xcode project to a customer who can double-click a DMG without macOS refusing to open it, and the walk took far longer than it should have. The kit is that route, written down.

It also means the scripts get exercised on real releases. When Apple changes something in the signing or notarisation pipeline, it breaks ours before it reaches yours, and we find out the same way you would: a build that worked last month stops working.

One-time-purchase apps on the App Store, currently including LensTime, Garantim, Rundle and Minimo. They are built and released through the same pipeline this kit contains, which is the reason it stays current rather than a claim we are asking you to take on faith.

What that means for support

• Replies come from the person who wrote the code, not a ticket queue. Usually within a working day, sometimes slower. If four days pass with nothing, assume the mail went astray and send it again.
• Email is the support channel. No phone line, no live chat, no bot.
• If something in the kit is broken, say so. A reproducible bug in ship.sh or the licence layer gets fixed and shipped to everyone.
